Copic Oz, 'A Little Magic'
Well this card had literally taken me all month. I coloured this image in on the 6th March and it has taken me until today to finish it. I saw the challenge at Copic Oz , 'A Little Magic', and the entries were amazing, but I am so proud of my colouring on this image. The sea blended beautifully together and I love how his telescope and bandanna have a shine to them. I used a Kaszazz DP I think it was part of their Bon Voyage Range and the background stamp is from Tim Holtz. I tried to mount my image on sooo many different colours but nothing seemed to go with it. I then settled on the black photo corners and I am thrilled with the result. Anyway here he is all coloured with Copics!
I don't know why but my images aren't showing on my blog this is the 5th time I have tried to fix it. If you look really carefully there are tiny dots above tha captions. This isn't dust on your screen but my images. Sorry I will try and find out what's going on.

MDUC
This week at the Magnolia Down Under Challenge we needed to produce a card that wasn't a square or a rectangle. So as I lay in bed I had a mad idea what about a 3D card! Well it was more stressful than expected but here is the end result.
Sorry about the flash on the camera, its a 3D treasure box with Tilda stuck on the side with a tab which tucks behind her boot. Here are a few close ups and the Copic colours I used. I have been on You Tube and I am trying to develop the flicking technique and I have been really pleased with the results. I do find this technique difficult in smaller areas and any tips would be appreciated.
As you can see I also need tips on photography at night as no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get them to look just right.

Brown Card for a Male
Well it took me a long time to think this one through. I bought this image at Lincraft because I didn't have any images for the older males in my life. This is the first time I have inked him up and I had the idea in my head of what I wanted it to look like but found I didn't have the exact browns that matched in my collection. Well this is my excuse so I can buy more Copics LOL. My husband came into my craft room the other night and commented that my bag was now full. I told him that I had actually saved him money because I had bought them when the dollar was high. Anyway I am entering this card in the Mad for Markers Brown Male Card challenge.
Here are the Copic colours I used
and a final close up.
