Boy, have we been spoilt with the weather here these school holidays. It's been hot here again today, too hot for a day at the beach so we went down early this morning and we will go down again later this afternoon. I have tried to capture the essence of summer in my card that I have made for the
Hooked On Craft Challenge which is to create 'Something Bright'. I have used a Tilda that I have had for a while (swimming Tilda) and have matched her up with some Kaiser and My Mind's Eye DP's. I often look at my paper rack and feel a bit guilty about my abundance of DP's but when I am crafting late at night I normally can find something that I need which is exactly what happened with this card. Well here she is
I have coloured Tilda in with my Copics. I then added Dimensional Magic to the mask and water bubbles. The ribbon was already in my stash I think I got it from Spotlight. I then coloured arond Tilda with B000 to make it look like she was in the water. I even decorated the inside and I am super happy with the way that it turned out.
The stamp is from Whimsy Stamps and seemed to suit the card perfectly. I also wanted to share some photos from the beach with my boys when we went exploring the rockpools.
Your card is amazing Sam. So bright and summery. I love the pic of your boys too. So much fun. Thank you for joining us at HOC.

Love the Tilda swimming card. i am so jealous about you having "heat" and sunshine. It is freezing here and we just had a week of -30!!
